In Santa Fe, Argentina, Mariana, a 15-year-old teenager, escapes her violent home and finds refuge at her friend Sofi's house. She files a police report against her stepfather, a famous folk singer, who abused her.
Thus begins the search for his biological father, Juan, with the firm intention of rescuing his sister Magui from the house.
Social services intervene and place her in a convent home with other girls in the same situation. The unexpected appearance of her mother, Estela, causes her to flee again.
With the help of her cousin Sergio, she travels to the countryside where she finds Juan. She realizes that her father is unable to help her and that she must save herself.
