In Santa Fe, Argentina, a group of artists creates an experimental dance-theater piece entitled Of soft skin

Ana, a playwright and director, leads this project inspired by Luci, her first love, who disappeared during the military dictatorship. The play explores the complexities of identity and memory, and reflects on the stories of dissident women.

Meanwhile, the artistic community and local residents are organizing to confront the threat of eviction from the social and cultural center where they work, driven by real estate interests. They are mobilizing through assemblies, protests, and cultural activities.

The characters' inner worlds—passions, fears, desires, memories—participate in a broader world of community action: the workshops at the cultural center and the struggle to keep them alive, and the preparation for the carnival.

As rehearsals for the play progress, conflicts escalate, with solidarity becoming a daily practice. Instead of giving up, they grow stronger, finding new forms of resistance.

The story ends with the community enjoying the carnival. A colorful crowd fills the street to the rhythm of the drums. The performers from the play dance and sing in the parade, an act of cultural affirmation. The day concludes with the burning of Momo, surrounded by a circle of people celebrating community life and creativity, demonstrating unity and hope.

It's an ensemble film in which a group of actors, despite the difficult socio-political climate they are living through, rehearse an experimental dance-theater piece about state violence in a community cultural and social center. Several queer characters are integrated into this collective.

They share the daily hardships and joys, they endure and enjoy life in community.

We fight for the defense of popular culture and for the right to express diverse, inclusive, anti-racist voices.

The stories are told through dance, theater, song, music, and oral storytelling. The actors' lives are interwoven with the fiction they portray, as is the fictional world with documented events. Almost imperceptibly, nature makes its presence felt.

En Of soft skin The sensitivity of the skin beats in harmony with the inner emotions of the soul. The story emphasizes tenderness and the hope of living in a better world where love, respect, and solidarity prevail.

The identities of the LGBTIQ+ community continue to be violated, persecuted, and silenced today, which is why we join the cry of ANYMORE.
